We Need Your Purim Tongue!
The Megillah of Esther says that King Achasueros sent out decrees "in all the languages of the kingdom.” So for Purim this year, we’d like to hear all the languages of Dor Hadash! The Megillah will be read at our Purim celebration on the evening of March 2, and we’d like it to be read in as many languages as possible.
Do you speak Yiddish or Yoruba? Spanish or Swahili? Korean or Klingon? Vietnamese or Valley Girl? Iambic Pentameter or Pirate? (Or, you know, do you chant the Megillah in Hebrew?”) WE WANT YOU! Please contact Rabbi Mike and let him know what you know! We’ll figure out how it all fits together, but the more languages, the merrier.
